Background and History of Northfield's Comprehensive Plan
In November 2006, the City Council approved a contract with ACP Visioning & Planning of Columbus, Ohio, to revise and update the City's Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations. The Comprehensive Plan was approved by the City Council on 11/17/08. The Land Development Regulations are scheduled to be completed in 2009.
The
City of Northfield has long been involved in City planning, zoning and
subdivision administration. The first Comprehensive Plan for the City of
Northfield was adopted and made effective in 1966. Since the adoption of the
first Comprehensive Plan of the City, there have been numerous revisions and
plan updates. The chronology of plan adoption by the City is listed as
